Another excellent painting guide. Very good illustrations and clear descriptions of each step. I have the metal Easterlings and will be increasing that army with a horde of their plastic counterparts. Well done, Pantera.

Very nicely done. The instructions are clear and to the point. I found the photos to be less than optimal due to the busy background, but it was also kind of interesting to see them in your work enviroment. The photos, at least for some of the detailed parts could be a bit larger. All and all well done.

P.S. Is there a reason why the face (or at least the eyes) was ignored? I haven't painted one yet, so I am simply curious. Thanks.

brilliant article there. lovely models as well. got myself a sprue, but i do the slightly differently. i drybrush boltgun metal, then chainmail, then i pick out all the individual scales in shining gold with a fine detail brush. wash with chestnut ink, like you, then overbrush with shining gold. i have to say, yours is a lot easier by the look of it and gives a better result.

To answer your question Curunír, this article was intended to give people a rough idea of how to paint the plastic easterlings and is therefore labelled 'beginners'. If I did create a slightly more in depth article on them, then I would go into such details as highlighting every scale, painting the eyes etc. However, theres nothing stopping you going over the eyes!
