What do you think of my all star cast for a spoof LOTR film that would be ideal for children in need, sponsoring could be gotten from film companies like new line and Petey Jackson could direct it. All money raised would go to children in need and the film companies would get a really good publicity image 8)

John Cleese as Aragorn

Mike Myers As Boromir
Image
Rowan Atkinson Legolas
Image
Parkinson as Gandalf The White
Image
Dawn French as Gimli
Image
Johnny Vegas as Frodo
Image
Ricky Gervais as Sam
Image
Peter Kay as Merry
Image
Martin Bashir as Pipin
Image
Matt Lucas in wheelchair off of Little Britain as Denethor
Image
Eddie Murphy as Faramir
Image
Jordan as Eowyn
Image
Jim Cerry as Eomer
Image
Billy Conoly as Theoden
Image
Mel Gibson Witch King
Image
Tim Curry as Wormtounge
Image
Trevor Mc Donald as Saruman
Image
Lenny Henry as Sauron
Image
David Walliams off of Little Britain as the Mouth of Sauron
Image
Anthony Hopkins as Golum
Image
Christopher Walken as Gothmog

Sorry but I had to go for no...but only on account of some of your recommended choices for characters. (sorry but the idea of Jordan playing Eowyn for a childrens charity role... :? ) As an idea for a charity show, I suppose with the right people involved, it would make a good, fun event worth watching.

josiahtaylorrulz - Could you please not use text talk/ slang on here as some people may not be able to understand you, especially those who do not have English as their main language.

Thanks

i'd love to see John Cleese as Aragorn. How about Michael Palin as someone? Victoria Wood would be good too! :D

I like some of your choices for actors but wasn't there already a spoof of LOTR by Dawn French. It was on tv some time after the first film came out.

I can't recall Dawn French doing a Lord of the Rings Spoof but I do remember her doing the Harry Potter one a while back.

I like the general idea but don't agree with some of the character choices.

i think that its a reasonable idea but you should think about your actors more carefully, for instance, scrap jordan and have someone more along the lines of julia roberts or helen hunt think more carefully next time hey?! i have a good idea for an alternative gandalf: george clooney, with a little bit of makeup of course! you should try and incorparate kirsten dunst as a lead character like eowyn or arwen.

the guys you chose best were....
john cleese as aragorn, rowan atkinson as legolas, Parkinson as gandalf, dawn french as gimli(TOP ONE!!!), rick gervais as sam, matt lucas as denethor, eddi murphy as faramir and mel gibson as witchking. to come up with these guys was an act of pure genius.

however, i'm not sure about jim carry as eomer though....

btw, would bush do well as sauron? he would probably make the children shiver and hide when he started talking:
"there is no life in Iraq... only death!"

Tony blair would have to be Sauron's (George bush') sidekick, The Mouth Of Sauron or the witch king
