I found the whole Goblintown scene to be too ridiculous for my taste; the cgi, their overall design, the over the top action, and the King's mannerisms especially in extended edition. Just awful, I missed the Moria goblins. I saw the EFGT set as buying a plastic Thorin's company with Radagast, goblins were just a side bonus.
Yep, hope you haven't bought a mounted Thranduil yet. You never know when that elk model is coming.
Man...I was just happy to see Lord of the Rings again. Yes, Moria Goblins, and the initial battle was Gruesome....very much to my taste.
But I see it this way. The hobbit is much more for kids, and started to get published because someone(dont quote me here historians) had a child who brought it to his father who was a publisher no?
I dont care....the movies are good enough for me. I expect more from the minis line, but Im just happy to have the movies. Much unlike some here.

I'm annoyed that they released man-beorn early, then another one came with the bear. That was a sly move.
A **** move. I was lucky enough to find Beorn and man listed by mistake on a website for $25 together. I was lucky enough to snag two. I was going to buy ten if I could for that price for trade hahaha.

As for the releases this time, awesome! Bolg, Ill admit will be my first purchase from this line. Ive been waiting for him, and a new Azog since they existed. Unfortunately, no armored Azog(yet).
Bard even looks gorgeous but as I dont really care for his stats or have men for him to really lead, he will not be a purchase. May be saved by new stats, but Idk if he will get any.
